This project is located in East Des Moines, Iowa. The project goal was to design a restuarant
that was fitting to the up and coming area for locals and people coming into town. The objective
was to design a precise design concept that would be utlized to define all aspects of the design
process. This includes taking into consideration building, fire, and safety codes as well as conceptual model making. The end goal was to create a visual and verbal presentation, construction documents, as well as sketches and modeling of the area. This project also included choosing a disability and creating your concept gearing towards that audience. By choosing PTSD, this prompted me to do more research on the condition and correlate my design decisions. I implemented distracting colors, surplus of natural light, and open spaces
